During the last week we execute delivery flights from Monday 28.7 to Friday 1.8. We can deliver e.g. groceries, medicine and other small goods, up to 3 kg per flight.
We are partnering up with K-Market PikkuKippari, located in Luonnonmaa. You can check the store’s product selection from the Shopping tab. Instructions on ordering can be found on our How to order? page.

We operate within a 15 km radius from our ground station, located in Rymättylä. Our full area of operation is presented in the included map, which you can enlarge by clicking.
We have performed over 1500 deliveries. Here you can check out an
article about our previous newspaper delivery pilot in Pirkanmaa (in Finnish)
The weather’s effect on our operations
In the event of conditions being unsuitable for safe operation, we will notify customers as early as possible.
Our instructed maximum wind limit is 8–10 m/s. Our aircrafts can fly in moderate rain. We are constantly developing our drones to improve our capability to operate daily, year-round.
Safety and privacy
The basis of our operations is minimizing the risk of human and property damage. We plan our flight routes in a way that we fly over buildings as little as possible.
The aircraft’s typical speed is about 21 m/s (76 km/h), meaning that in a wooded area it is only visible for a few seconds. The package will be dropped in a spot agreed upon with the customer from around 40 meters above the ground. The likely landing zone is about 50 meters in diameter, and we aim to drop it in the very middle. This landing zone is also the perimiter within which you should not be as the aircraft is approaching
The person receiving the package must be on the drop site during the delivery. We will contact the customer when the package is ready for takeoff for confirmation. You can see an example delivery in the video below.
Our aircraft has a back-facing camera that records video footage of the deliveries. This footage is only used for purposes of confirming the success and exact location of the drop, and it will never be published anywhere without explicit permission from the customer. The camera is angled in such a way that the aircraft is almost 100 m away from the drop spot by the time the ground is visible in the feed, so people can not be recognized from the footage.
In case of emergency
If a flight related accident has caused an emergency, such as a fire or personal damages, call the emergency number 112. If only the aircraft is damaged, you can contact Lentola, and we will pick up the aircraft and notify the civil aviation authority of the incident. If possible, observe the situation, but stay away from the immediate vicinity of the aircraft as there is always risk of further hazard, especially in case of a damaged battery.
Lentola has insurance for potential damage to people and personal property. We do not take responsibility for damages caused by vandalism or neglect of instructions given to the customer.
